Schools

"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." -Proverbs 22:6 Daily, over 5,700 students in our sixty-seven English District Lutheran schools are having their hearts and minds trained for a life of service in response to God’s tremendous grace. Our students have the opportunity to grow intellectually, physically, socially, emotionally and most importantly spiritually sitting at the feet of our District’s teachers who so faithfully and effectively serve the Master Teacher.

Ministerial Health Commission

We know every day is a gift from God.  Sometimes it feels more like a struggle than a gift.

The Ministerial Health Commission is here to help our pastors, their families and all our staff.  We C.A.R.E.  We are here to call if you need someone to listen in a non-judgmental way, to share with and to offer support.  We are available for confidential conversation.  We offer support through consultation and recommendation of resources.  We provide encouragement, gain understanding and give comfort to assist in your well-being.

Lifeline

Rev. Michael Brown

It was the late 1970s.  This sort of thing wasn’t all that common: a woman, in her 40s, pregnant.  She did a lot of crying.  Granted, she might have been “expecting,” but she and her husband weren’t expecting this!  Not at her age. It was unplanned. It was unconventional.  It was life changing.

Stewardship

What is stewardship?

Christian Stewardship is the free and joyous activity of the child of God, and God's family, the church, in managing all of life and life's resources for God's purposes.

Every man, woman, and child should know that they are God’s stewards by His grace, live as His disciples, and manage the gifts He entrusts to them with joy and generosity—all so that God’s purposes would be accomplished and His mission enhanced.

Stewardship is managing 100% of what God has given you
